"This has been a dream project: showcasing Westside bands and artists, many of whom I'm lucky to call my friends and bandmates. There's a pretty diverse set of music presented here - from dream-pop, snarling rock, soul and swing, folk and a touch of country twang - but if there's a common thread throughout I'd say it's great Songs (which, they say, never go out of style), a preference for real instruments over laptops-and-samplers and a certain laid-back vibe ('cos that's how we do it on the Westside, baby!)

For those of you discovering - or rediscovering - the joys of cassettes, I hope you feel the love that we put into these hand-assembled, hand-painted beauties!"
